ASDA Garden - ASDA Garden Section Review

The ASDA Garden Section:

The garden section of Asda direct has everything that you will even need for your garden such as, garden furniture, barbecues, picnic ware, gardening, structures, landscaping, outdoor toys, garden accessories, outdoor airers and gifts for growing. Again, the design is extremely simple with the main page of the garden section giving you a list of the top rated products, offers and featured products. When you enter each of the subsections Asda has offered you a side menu that will allow you to narrow your search options based on price and properties related to the particular category.

ASDA Garden Furniture:

When you enter the garden furniture, they have over 40 options of furniture available with them. You will be able to find furniture that are as cheap as under £10 to over £1000, though most of them lie between the £40 to £60 mark. In this category, you can narrow your search for the products either by price or by brand or by type. The brand options available for you are, Asda itself, Li-Lo Brand, Garden Life by Mountorse and culsita. And for searching by the type category you have seating, set, parasol, table and gazebo. Products like the wind breaker, Ratten Bistro Set for two, Studio chair and the Malaysian hard wood bench set for six are all excellent value for your money.

Barbecues at ASDA:

The barbecues section is quite plain. There are just eight options available for you which are displayed as they are in the front page. Since there are only eight of them, practically you need not actually search for anything. Anyways, in future if Asda looks to expand it, you still have options for narrowing your search by price and by brand. The prices of the barbecue items range from under £40 to £500. The products include the Big Boy 3-Burner Flatbed Gas Barbecue, DIY Barbecue, steel firepit, masonry barbecue, pedestal barbecue, Budweiser oil drum, five burner and side burner gas and round charcoal barbecue. When you click on each of the options, a short description and a full specification table of the product is given.

Picnic ware:

Picnic ware at ASDA is a fun section. You get to buy all the tiny items for an very affordable cost. This section has products like lunch bags, drink ware, plates, bowls, picnic accessories, cooler boxes and bags. The price range varies from under £10 to £40. Most of the products come under £10. You can narrow your search options either by category, price or brand. Good quality, large size pictures of each item are displayed when you click over it so that you can make sure that you do not misinterpret something that is not there. There are certain categories, where you will have to make a minimum order on. For instance, if you choose to buy the black and white dinner plate which costs £2 each, you will have to order a minimum of four of them.

ASDA Gardening:

Coming to the main part of the section, Gardening, here, you will find things like gardening tools, planting, watering, lawn mowers and storage options. In the main page, three of them of each category is listed, so that you can have a brief idea on what you will be finding in each section. The search options include options for you to search by category, price, brand and type. The price tags range from under £10 to £300. Certain garden tools seems to be overpriced but the planters are of great value. You have very cheap and very dearer storage options available.

Structures and landscaping:

Structures and landscaping is the posh section of the Garden category. It has the items of the Livingstone and Forest Garden brands. There are hardly anything available for you under £60 bugs, all of them range from £60 to more than £1000, though most of them lie under the £150 to £300 category. A lot of half price offers are listed in this category. Being the creamy section it is prices dearly.

Outdoor toys Section at ASDA:

Your kids can not imagine life without outdoor toys. Asda Direct has solutions for that too. A wide range of category is available which includes wheeled toys, activity centres, football, pools and accessories, cricket, playhouse, trampolines, sand toys, skates and pogo sticks, racket sports and basketball. You can have your search done by brands, categories or prices. Here too, as in the case of the picnic ware, since there are a lot of categories, three of the items of each category are listed in the home page. The variety of goods available are very good in cases of wheeled toys, activity centres, football, pools and cricket. The variety of racket sports and basket balls are very limited though and most of the time out of stock.

Garden accessories:

Garden hobbyists will have a very good time in this section as it has anything and everything that is required to give an attractive, posh and lovely look to your gardens. Here, though most of the categories are repeated that we had seen earlier like sculptures and planters, there are a few other interesting new categories available too which include lights, candles and T-light, holders, clocks and chimes, garden footware and covers and cushions. You will be able to find a lot of items that are very cheap in this category. You can find a lot of them costing under 10 bugs and everything limits to just under £40.

Outdoor Airers and Gifts for growing:

The outdoor airers has a very good collection of seven of them. Each of it looks different and interesting. Having only seven of them, you are not provided with any search options. All of them are of the Minky brand whose prices range from £10 to £40. You have got outdoor airers types such as, the easy loader, Classic rotary, 3 tier Concertina plus, X Wing airer, 4 arm telescopic rotary, 2 tier airer and classic rotary airer.

In Gifts for growing, you have options for almost any plant you can actually think of and all of them cost £12 bugs. When you click on each item, it gives a short description on the product and also the items that are included in the set.
